About us

Zygopoulou Maria works as a special education teacher in primary education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from the University of Ioannina, and a second Bachelor’s in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her first Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, followed by a second one in “New Technologies in Education” from the University of Macedonia. She is currently specializing in systemic psychotherapy and is providing support to families with children with special educational needs. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Macedonia and her research interest focuses on the education of children with ASD, the use of assistive technology, the management of their behavioral problems and consequently the strengthening of their adaptive behaviors.
